First and foremost, SportsFiends.com is a fan based sports commentary and analysis web site featuring original content created by sports fans for sports fans. We are always looking for individuals who love sports and want to show their passion by writing either an occasional article or weekly column about what they know.

In order for this site to be great, we need support in creating quality content by users like you. If you are interested in writing articles about any sports related topic, please read our submission policy and contact us with your ideas.

Sports Journalist Internship:
If you’ve always wanted to write about sports, this is your chance. SportsFiends.com is especially interested in candidates knowledgeable and interested in MLB, Fantasy Baseball, NASCAR, and Poker.

The internship requires a minimum of three to five hours a week, and you can use existing unpublished sports related content to get started. SportsFiends.com will feature your column at regular intervals and automatically archive your work as new work is published.

As of now, this is an unpaid internship; ideal for students or aspiring sports journalists. We offer professional editing and international exposure of your work. Our expectation is that, at a minimum, interns would write one, 800 – 1200 word article a week.

College students seeking to receive college credit for working with Sports Fiends, Inc. should note that in their cover letter. Sports Fiends, Inc. can not promise that college credit will be available, but we will attempt to work with your school to make that happen.

Telecommuting is a viable option for this position.

Editorial Assistant:
SportsFiends.com is currently seeking one talented student and/or aspiring sports journalist to fill an unpaid editorial assistant internship. This can be a telecommuting position for the right applicant. Duties and responsibilities include:

- Editing original content
- Working directly with the Editor-In-Chief on various special projects
- Authoring a weekly sports editorial column on topics of your choice
- Proofreading Advertising, Marketing, and Promotional Material
- Marketing and Promotion of the web site
- Applicants should expect to devote a minimum of 10 hours a week to the internship.

Graphic Designers:
SportsFiends.com is seeking two talented students and/or aspiring graphic artists to fill an unpaid Graphic Designer internship. This is a telecommuting position. Duties and responsibilities include:

- Working with the webmaster to create article graphics and logos with short turn around times
- Assisting in the development (look and feel) of the site
- Integrating logo's and other graphics into merchandise
- Marketing and promoting those materials

Sports Fiends, Inc. expects applicants to have expertise in Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, or other graphic software as well as a demonstrated qualification in electronic graphic design.
